Academic Advisory Day for Hotel Management Department dan Social Studies

Almost 97% students attended the Academic Advisory Day in IHYPJ student hall yesterday. Most importantly this event is to convey the message of 'self managing and responsibilty' especially when it comes to add, drop and so on. In his speech, En Asmadi mentioned about student focus about study, recognition and awards for qualified achievers. However, if students are not quite in the achievers category, at the very least they must know the importance of attending class, exercise add, drop dan withdraw process to safeguard their cumulative grade point average.

Many Attended Toastmasters Club's Briefing

August 26, 2009. 3 dedicated individuals presented The Toastmaster Club of Johore to some 70 students of IHYPJ. This club was establish almost one hundred years ago in The Unites States of America with a population of 250,000 members in Malaysia. Student membership to this club will be sponsored by Iskandar Development Region Authority under the GEMS program. This program is aimed at increasing employability rate of final year and graduated students. This arrangement will then open up the oppurtinity for student to serve in Iskandar Development Region and its surrounding area in the future.

Academic Advisory Day for for this semester is as follow;

1. Hotel Management Department
Wednesday August 26th, 2009 at Student Hall
From 5:00pm - 8:00pm

2. Culinary Department
Friday August 28th, 2009 at Student Hall and Classroom
From 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Students attendance for this event is a must where matters pertaining thier studies will be discussed (with their respective academic advisor) accordingly. The popular topics from this meeting are to improve attendance, to drop subject, to withdraw subject and tips to study effectively. These are the actions that students should take to get good grades at the end of the semester. This college (IHYPJ) really concerns about students academic performance so that this event is planned and executed for the benefit of IHYPJ students.

Selamat Menyambut Bulan Ramadhan!

Selamat menyambut bulan Ramadhan kepada semua ahli keluarga IHYPJ. Semoga bulan yang penuh keberkatan ini memberi manfaat yang besar kepada kita. Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar (MPP) dilantik dengan rasminya

21 Ogos 2009, Ahli-ahli Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar IHYPJ telah dilantik dengan rasminya. Majlis ini yang dihadiri oleh Timbalan Ketua Eksekutif IHYPJ, En Hod B Amin menyaksikan seramai 16 orang pelajar menerima watikah perlantikan masing-masing. Mandat sebagai ahli MPP ini diberikan oleh seluruh pelajar IHYPJ melalui proses pilihanraya yang dijalankan pada 14 Ogos yang lalu. Berikut adalah senarai nama ahli MPP

kosmo! Futsal Carnival

All IHYPJians and KPYPJians, be prepared.... kosmo! Futsal Carnival is back. This time KPYPJ will host 'futsal' competiton which is scheduled from 3 to 4 October 2009. This competition is aimed at rewarding the best team with attractive prize all well to represent KPYPJ in Futsal Carnival in bigger tournament (nationwide) in Kuala Lumpur. Kosmo! as the main sponsor has visited IHYPJ last Thursday (August 20th) meeting students and KPYPJ staffs promoting this event. This team also give away goodies from other participating sponsors such as Digi, Figos, 7up Revive, Sara Lee and CCM pharmaceuticals. With this short visit, kosmo and other sponsors hope to have favorable response from KPYPJ students and staff towards this tournament.
